Babysitting: Are You Tuff Enuff?

I never have taught that taking care of a baby was this mind blowing, nerve wrecking and power draining. In short = it's a torture...!

You never know what they want, all they do to communicate with you is cry...cry...and cry. Hungry = Cry. Sleepy = Cry. Nappy = Cry. Happy also cry!? I feel like i was jet lagging. I woke up randomly at midnight changing diapers and making milk.

...as if you are binded to them, you can't leave them alone or take a simple break. Even when the baby are sound asleep you developed this phobia that they are going to cry "any minute now" and didnt get enough sleep time. When you assumed that everything's alright and try to steal some "nap time' they start wailing...

It's not easy i tell you. I nearly blew my temper...i nearly XXXXX the baby. Imagine that i am doing this for my cousin and still it drives me insane. What will the hired maid do if they are angry with your baby?

...can you imagine leaving your child alone with them? I am haunting youuuuuu!!!

9 2 Orange meets Kazoku

It has been many months since i dropped out and taking a long break from working at the company's INN...due too a family request that i reluctantly refuse - babysitting for a cousin who just had her first baby girl ^^"

I might not be getting as much as i did while working at the Hotel, -o- i was only getting 3/4 of what i used to get...but that's family obligation for me.

Yet, i can compensate the loss for things like "Free Food" + "Free Transport" + "Free Internet Usage" + "I don't have to spend my time wasting water and electricity -[ just like my mother quote] when staying over and just fixing baby like things"... ==V

...it has been over 4 months since i announce my hiatus from my ordinary work, no more night adventures at the Hotel, i am beginning to feel bored.

I missed that miserable place.

Sometimes work colleagues came and drop by just to say hi + missed them!

Driving School

Mother is an old woman, her eyesight is getting poorer and poorer.

Her kids are somewhat useless^^ none of them ever learn how to drive~even at the right age!

So i think it's time to step forward and start learning. I enjoyed being drive around while i sit laid back at the rear but the routine had to change this year [put driving lesson as one of my 2013 resolutions]

There is a driving institute near my street. I just need to register == pay the fees (almost RM 1K) listen to the seminars and workshops...watch some videos;

...and then comes the fun part...Oren is on the real wheel! ~ ummmm...how to drift? ^^

Claim 2 B the best Laksa in Kuching?

I was asking casualy; "Where is the best Laksa in Kuching?"

...and they say; "At the Golden Arch food stall, at the Batu 3 roundabout...got certificate some more!"

Honestlt i passes through this complex 366 days a week and never realised there's actualy a food court in that premise...

True lah, there's a certificate of approval that she sells the best laksa in town. You can see it was on display. Signed by some "bandaraya" food community...

Time to try...

The laksa was not bad, fresh prawn, delicious laksa paste, the best was the bee hoon noodle! So bouncy and not over-cooked. The only thing that didn't go well for me is the Sambal Belacan. I tasted better somewhere.

Verdict? Not bad. If you come 2 KCH, do please try it out ^^

A few more days until Chinese New Year, the Water Dragon cycle is coming to it's end. The coming Lunar Calendar would be the Snake...hmmm recalling back lost memories, if i remember correctly, Ravenmin is a Snake?

They think they so smart they don't even bother to hear what others have to say, so determined that they think they can do the impossible, so filled with empty promises and blind determination that things will go as they planned.

They never consult, they never talked, they never asked and they never say it out. They just sit quietly at one corner, came out with some plan that will solve all things and selfishly puts everyone in a mess for the impulsiveness.

You quit schooling to get a job and relieve the family burden, i won't accept that. We are never at breaking point...not yet!

Carved on the stars?

The title above is an oren self direct translation of the sentence "Terukir di Bintang" ^^ does it portrays the same meaning? I hope so...

Last sunday, oren joins the other 6 million Malaysian viewers, watching the much anticipated Anugerah Juara Lagu 27: one of the biggest and prestigious music entertainment competition show in the country. Another viewer that contributed to the census would be Nihja ^^ but she is more into fan brawling instead of being an (ahem...) music analyst.


I'm covering all aspects of the show so i am writing things down in points:


I find that the "special effects" for the three opening performance including the host introduction is quacky - looks like some 1990 video game of the same quality. There is no need to rely solely on edgy computer graphic effects of that decree. The normal props fare much much better (as we all witnessed during the artistes performances)

I find that 11 songs are "fighting for it". The artist sang their hearts out presenting eye candy props leaving us in awe and fully entertained.

...except for Sheila Amzah, she must think that this is another reality show because she bores me with her mushy poetry and irritating phone rings sound. She has no props; she is not even trying!

Nihja comments that her head is full of grass right now...a future competition that will rake more overseas popularity is coming and she is paving her way towards winning it and become of of Asia's best, she's a long term strategist in the entertainment business-or is it her dad?

How it disturb me for having seen Aizat singing like he's drunk on a 10,000 cups of Latte and actually won this year AJL 27. The head jury Azmeer stated that the song ("Terukir Di Bintang") is a winner in the jury hearts long even before the grand finale even started...hmmm...even if Aizat does a rap and decided to do a Gangnam on the stage that evening, the song "Terukir Di Bintang" will still won.

...i was Disconnected from the E-World for 2 months and there are so much happening out there!

...now that the "Opportunity Window" slits open i must take the chance before i was denied access for the next...errr...not certain how long does it takes to fix my line after the last bill blew on top of my face.

...for my personal record, on the 29th of Disember 2012, i stupidly slash the end of my left ear with my fingernails and blood splattered out like rain. Ears have quite a lot of blood vessels, u know!

It hurts a bit, but the look on my mom face when she saw my ears, neck and t shirt drenched in blood is memorable!

...Ice please, the blood won't stop flowing! O_O

One Long Mayan Calendar

Blame it on "Outstanding Bills"...

 Early November.....Eeeekkkkk!!!!

"I am not done yet...i'm just getting started - and suddenly at the brink of november 2012 my TM NET connection were cut off due to 7 months outstanding bills. Eeekkkk!!!!!"

I can use my laptop and surf the net and update blogs at my workplace right? Yes i can ^^ except for one big problem, i lost my laptop adapter cable! Eeeeekkkk!!!!!!

I was completely broke paying half of the outstanding bills in november. Mother keeps whacking my head and scolding me for letting the bills goes unpaid for so long...bad money management! Eeeekkkkk!!!!!

Finish paying the bills in December - still broke...but i still had some problems with my internet! I need a technician! They say "After this New Year ler...." Eeeeekkkkk!!!!

I go plan B and wasted my January salary to fix my laptop. I have no choice but to surf using the workplace office WI FI. Now i'm broke again....hehehe...Eeeekkkk!!!!!

Akibaranger (Unofficial Post)

I've finished my week by watching the Unofficial Sentai Akibaranger - all 13 episodes of it! Yaay! I don't count the last episode as an official episode, more like a wrap of the previous 12. ==" My only complaint was it's to short! I want to see more! This is the most funny + ridiculous sentai i've ever seen in my life!

The characters are colourfull. Emmmm...even for an otaku! There are a 29 year old bachelor who is a big Sentai and Z-Cune fans, a cosplayer and a closet otaku. The plot are ridiculous. so ridiculous i have no idea how to describe it here in one post. But it's funny! So funny, i strongly force you all to buy or borrow and start watching.

Yumeria Moegi (Yellow) is my favourite character, her personality changes depending on what type of cosplay character she potrays at that day. Episode 4 is the most funny when Moega switch between several cosplay costumes and look twice as goofy at the same time. Errr....her being a fujoshi ummm no comment on that ^^"

Mitsuki Aoyagi (Blue) a martial arts fanatic. The most "normal" character out of the three...but sometimes her otaku meter goes up and she starts doing things behind her team backs. Typical blue.

I wont elaborate much about Nobuo Akagi (Red) he's the super daydreaming, loudmouthed, hotblooded 29 year old virgin who collects moe dolls and super sentai...eh! did i just elaborate him?

Flower Shop Madness!

Looking at some of the top Flower Shop players on the games leaderboard, i was expecting a rich and luxurius looking flower business empire - I was wrong @_@

I was greeted by the most unorganized and a lack of taste in building a good flower business. Everyone is looking for easy cash. Because of the fast money mentality, you see how these Flower Land had become the dollar bill farms.

So bleak and uncreative. There's no wonderfull arrangements and things just fall down from the skies. The whole place is turning into another type of farm. Farming money from the equipment. The bigger the better!

Ghost Hunt

I was away from the Internet for a couple of days because i was stuck to the DVD player for quite some time ^^...pushing my courage to the limits and watching scary stories and anything else related from late until dawn. There are black rings around my eyes now and... it looks like i am turning into the horror movies ghouls myself!

My interest moved from Zachary Bagans (hee...hee...hee...) to the ANIME: GHOST HUNT. A girlie girlie, horror type - occult investigation series. In the series, the ghost hunter utilizes anything to get rid of ghost: Shinto Priestess, Buddhist Monks, Christian Priest, Omniyouji, Spirit Medium, Science...ANYTHING!

No Esper? No...

The rest of it i googled ^^...

Mai Taniyama is a 16 year-old orphan and first year high school student who becomes involved with the Shibuya Psychic Research center (SPR for short) after she accidentally breaks an expensive video camera that was being used by the SPR in an investigation of an old building at Mai's school. In the same incident, she is also saved from a falling bookcase by a man working for the SPR, Lin Koujo, who is injured instead; to repay her debt, she fills in for Lin as a part timer on the investigation, assisting the SPR's manager, Kazuya Shibuya. (It is later revealed that the camera was covered by insurance, and that Shibuya was happy for the help). After the conclusion of the first case, she is offered a paycheck for her work and a part-time position at the SPR. She refers to Shibuya as 'Naru' due to her perceiving him as narcissist.

As the series progresses, it is revealed that Mai has ESP abilities, which include postcognitive dreams and clairvoyance. Mai also demonstrates an instance of astral projection, when she gives Masako a key to comfort her after she is kidnapped by a monster. As she is still unfamiliar with her newly discovered powers, Mai is often not confident in her abilities and often does not disclose the full details of her dreams. In Mai's dreams, a person that appears to be Naru frequently appears to guide her. Additionally, the other members of the SPR teach her some useful techniques, which she utilizes in the series. She develops feelings for Naru as well as the other 'Naru' who appears in her dreams.

As the story progressed Mai character become more and more demanding and irritating to my liking. She constantly becomes to emotional to understand the logic of Naru's decision or actions for the last 3 cases...maybe the director want to intensified the drama in the anime so it will have a climatic ending but for me they are turning Mai into a wailing beeeechhh...sorrie ^^

Now, to sum up:

The best episodes for the series: The Bloodstained Labyrinth - so scary!

The best character in the series: If i am in a good mood: Naru If i'm not in the mood for Naru large ego: Monk!

Bad part of the show: 26 episodes dominated by the occurence of Wolf Fires and Curses! The ghost always originated from Wolf Spirit fires...which was too japanese and limits the story. They lack other ghostly labels such as Banshee's, Werewolves, Draculas, etc's

I will give it 5 out of 10. Now if you excuse me i need to pop in the Akibaranger CD's into the player ^^V

Looming Shadows

I woke up from my sleep 4.45 in the morning. I went to bed early - there is nothing to do when you had a back "full of problem" ^^ rest and lie down until full recovery.

Regardless, it is a very time consuming and boring process. So i sneaked into the room next door, turned on the PC and start typing things...

The truth is i am worried ==" the boss give me a green light and granted me a weeks sick leave for me to rest my miserable lumbar, but from the SMS and calls i received from the frontdesk yesterday, work seems to be pilling up!

They even posted it on the Facebook. You guys want to scare me so much...right? Please don't be so cruel to sick people \O_O/ let them rest in peace (& i don't mean dying...)

Not to mention other personal requests from people who would like some job to be done "after you have recovered". I am a receptionist not a secretary.

...i should have been an artist ==" - my LKW Diploma is collecting dust on the wall ^^

My back started to complain...i have to back to my bed again!

Bedridden

Owww...my back!

I can feel it coming last friday, small sharp pangs that stabbed my lower back like ice cold needles.

By saturday the pain was more significant. Getting up from the bed had becomes a nightmare. It took several shrieks and teeth clenching moments just trying to get up from the bed.           

The lower lumbar felt as if they were torn apart. Walking also generates the pain. When i lift my feet up, the back muscle started to get tense. The pain spreads to the calves and the soles of my feet.

I was bedridden yesterday, couldn't get up at all. Today, i've managed a few hours of a short walk, but the pain kicks in and i was forced to lie down once again.    

Hope things will get better soon.
